We arrived after two long travel days to find that the owners were occupying the home for two weeks- starting the week we arrived. CSVR had to find us a new house which took a few hours and ended up being in Corolla- more north than we wanted. I'm glad it all worked out, but after traveling for as long as we did to arrive to an occupied home was certainly maddening.
